Bali: Heaven on Earth
In Bali, life is a beach, or a mountain or a lake, depending on what you want. It can be the most relaxing vacation you can imagine. White sandy beaches, warm tropical climate, palm trees swaying in the cool breeze, and the friendly Bali Villas staff to pamper you and cater to your every whim while you commune with nature. It's why for many years Bali was hailed as the best island in the world.
Bali is located between the Java Sea in the north and the Indian Ocean
in the south. It is just below the equator, so the temperature ranges
from 68 to 93 degrees. Life is always wonderful in the shade of a
tamarind or banyan tree. The warm, wonderful staff at Bali Villas can
make you a delicious fruity concoction as you lay on your lounge chair,
breathe deeply, and contemplate the clouds as they ease their way
across a perfectly blue sky.
Bali is relatively small. You can rent a bicycle or scooter and create
your own adventure. Visit one of the four lakes, venture up an active
but quiet volcano, swim in one of the private splash pools or lay back
and enjoy the plush accommodations.
There are flowers almost everywhere you go in Bali. A kaleidoscope of color brightens up the whole island. Jasmine, hibiscus, water lilies, there are colorful bouquets and garlands seemingly encircling the whole island. They are in vases, in drinks, even in the hair of the women and little girls. It brings to mind the Garden of Eden.
When the sun goes down, the sun seems to draw a blanket over the whole
island, first brilliant yellow, then orange, and finally burnt amber.
Finally a friendly moon and twinkling stars usher in the night in Bali,
heaven on earth.
