First Night Out – Backpacker Accommodation Brisbane
On our first night out in Brisbane, the city was so
welcoming! We had a wonderful time going out in the inner city of
Brisbane at bars like Mick O’Malley’s, the Belgian Beer Cafe, and
Watt’s. Everyone was so friendly and those Aussies definitely know how
to have a good time! When we finally turned in for the night, it was
great staying at a location that had a pleasant 24-hour reception desk.
When in Brisbane, we stayed at the Brisbane
Backpacker Hostel, which is located on the south side of the
Brisbane River. This resort had a lovely atmosphere, where everyone was
so friendly. Its location was so close to the city, walking distance
from the West End and Southbank, but far enough away that it was able
to have huge rooms and a plethora of facilities. The resort had
everything you could want out of a place to stay as a backpacker: a
communal kitchen, internet, laundry room and small dorm rooms.
What was even more exciting were the other facilities that the Brisbane
Backpackers had, such as a pool, spa, restaurant and a free shuttle bus
to parts of Brisbane that ran hourly! The food at the restaurant is
affordable and quite good. During the day, we often went to see places
in the inner city. The markets along the river are amazing, with
incredible produce! The young and hip scene of China Town was
definitely a place to see. We also went on tours of some of the
stunning cathedrals in Brisbane, including St. John’s and St. Stephens.
The desk at the Brisbane Backpackers was so helpful with scheduling
activities for my friends and me. We ended up going on a dolphin
feeding tour and skydiving!
The staff at the Brisbane Backpackers also was very helpful with
getting us bus and train schedule information. This resort was perfect
to stay at for a lively stay in Brisbane. We had busy, exciting days
and wild nights out while in staying at the Brisbane Backpackers.
But if you prefer staying in Brisbane hotels , Brisbane is offering a great selection of hotel accommodation some of which is situated right on the Brisbane River.
